I’m Marissa, chef and owner. Food has always been central to my life, as a channel for creativity, pleasure, and connection. My culinary journey began in childhood, sitting on the kitchen counter with my brother, watching our mother whip up her famous pound cake. Throughout my childhood, I was free to experiment and explore in the kitchen.

In adolescence, I pored over books on nutrition and cooking. During my studies in Italy, I worked in kitchens and took cooking classes.

Eventually, I moved to the Bay Area. After a brief encounter working in Silicon Valley and 15 years dedicated to raising my children, I followed my heart. In 2013, I began cooking professionally.

Along with my amazing team, I’m dedicated to making every event exceptional, because at Fete Fraiche, it’s not just about the food—it’s about transforming moments into something unforgettable.
